Oakland Tech Senior Prom - 2000

Welcome to Oakland Technical High School's Senior Prom photo album. There isn't much to say about it. The senior prom actually turned out better than what I expected. Based on my experience of the junior prom last year, the senior prom is actually a good improvement. The junior prom "sucked" because Tiffy and I were the only Asian couples at the prom. To top it off, the only music played at the prom was rap, including the final slow dance. The senior prom also had a lot of rap music, however, there were also a couple techno/dance music. The choice for the final slow dance song was definitely better than the junior prom's. The only complaint that I have about the senior prom is the food. I used to think that the food at the junior prom was bad, but boy was I wrong. The food at the senior prom was nasty. The only food that was good at the prom was the pot stickers, which they quickly ran out.

We arrived at the prom early! Actually, we (Linda, Willis, Tony, Chi Yow, Annie, Kelly, Tiffany, and I) were one the first groups to arrive early. I believe everyone had a great time at the prom. Just look at the smile on everyone's faces on the pictures below. I think everybody stayed until the prom was over at 1:00 A.M. Then we decided to go to a restaurant to get some REAL food. I don't even want to talk about our drive there. Let's just say that it sucked! =P We were about to go for some karaoke after we ate, however, we ended up going home. By the time we finished our dinner or breakfast, it was 3 to 4 A.M. Who in their right minds would go karoake at 4 in the morning?
